RSVUK — Community Report
Alhamdulillah
This Ramadan, RSVUK launched several new projects and our community responded generously to each of them. We are pleased to report that the majority of donations have already reached their intended recipients.
This was the first year RSVUK distributed funds specifically for iftar provisions. We pray that Allah accepts your generous donations and rewards you abundantly for your support.
Several new projects in Burma have been identified and are currently being explored and assessed. Full details and costings will be shared with the community ahead of next Ramadan.
Further information about each project can be found on the relevant pages on the RSVUK website.

It is with great pleasure and eagerly anticipated event, the RSVUK would like to invite volunteers to partake in the community charity event. This time we embark on a different part of country the South West i.e. Devon. There will be Charity event, picnic, food, games and lots more. We have 3 challenges for our member and winner get prizes.

For the first time, we focused on supporting vulnerable individuals and families within the UK who are struggling to make ends meet. Through your generosity and kindness, food packages were provided to help those in need break their fast after a long day of fasting during Ramadan.

For the first time, we established direct contact with members of our community in Burma and, through our representatives on the ground, were able to personally distribute donations to eligible recipients.

As in previous years, our community has responded generously to the Hospital Appeal. The support we receive extends beyond the UK, with donations also coming from the USA, India, Thailand, Singapore, and other parts of the world. This year, we raised £4,745 locally towards this vital cause.

In 2008, the RSVP community set up a medical diagnostics clinic in Rander, India to provide the poor and needy with free medical consultations, basic laboratory tests and subsidised medication. The centre has gone from strength to strength and in the last 8 years has helped over 20,000 people, including many women and children. The centre has now transformed into a hospital.
